SeeVee — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SeeVee, an AI-powered CV management platform operated by aperAI OÜ ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Estonia.

SeeVee is accessible at seevee.aperai.eu and any custom domains configured by users for their team galleries.

By creating an account or using SeeVee, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

SeeVee is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for recruitment agencies and professionals to manage candidate CVs. The service includes:

  • AI-powered CV extraction: Upload PDF resumes, which are processed by AI (Google Vertex AI / Gemini) to extract structured candidate data.
  • CV curation and validation: AI reviews and normalizes extracted data for consistency and completeness.
  • Job-targeted tailoring: AI adapts CVs to match specific job descriptions.
  • Duplicate detection and merging: AI identifies and merges duplicate candidate records.
  • Template designer: Customize CV layouts with an AI-assisted design chat.
  • Team gallery: Share candidate CVs with clients via secure, shareable links — with optional anonymization and custom domain support.
  • Organization workspaces: Each organization has its own encrypted workspace with role-based access.

2. Account Registration and Responsibilities

2.1 Creating an Account

To use SeeVee, you must create an account by signing in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft. You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.

2.2 Organizations

Users belong to organizations. The person who creates an organization becomes its administrator. Administrators are responsible for managing members, permissions, and the organization's use of the platform.

2.3 Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must not share your account or let others access SeeVee through your credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use SeeVee.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or violates any person's rights.
  • Use SeeVee to process personal data without a lawful basis under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR).
  • Upload fabricated, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading CVs.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the service without our written permission.
  • Circumvent or abuse the credit system, including creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free trial credits.
  • Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
  • Resell or redistribute access to SeeVee without our written consent.
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Content — You retain ownership of all data you upload to SeeVee. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

4.2 Our Platform — SeeVee — including its software, design, branding, AI models integration, templates, and documentation — is owned by aperAI and protected by intellectual property laws.

4.3 AI-Generated Output — CV data extracted, curated, or tailored by our AI is derived from your input content. You own the output, subject to the AI disclaimer in Section 5.

4.4 Templates — CV templates provided by SeeVee are licensed for use within the platform. You may use generated CVs externally, but you may not extract, copy, or redistribute the templates themselves.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

SeeVee uses artificial intelligence (Google Vertex AI / Gemini) to extract, curate, validate, and tailor CV data. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI output may contain errors or hallucinated data. Extracted or tailored data may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrectly formatted.
  • You bear sole responsibility for reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy and appropriateness before using it, sharing it with clients, or presenting it to candidates or employers.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any AI-generated output for any particular purpose.
  • AI processing involves sending your data to third-party AI providers (Google Cloud / Vertex AI). See our Privacy Policy for details.
  • AI models may change over time, which could affect the quality or format of generated output.

6. Credit System and Billing

6.1 How Credits Work — SeeVee operates on a credit-based system. Job credits are consumed for AI extraction, curation, tailoring, and merging. Template tokens are consumed for AI design chat. Credit costs are displayed in the application.

6.2 Free Trial — New organizations receive free credits for evaluation, subject to fair-use limits.

6.3 Purchasing Credits — Additional credits can be purchased through the platform.

6.4 Refunds — Consumed credits are non-refundable. Unused purchased credits may be eligible for refund within 14 days of purchase per EU consumer protection law.

6.5 Credit Expiration — Credits do not expire while your account is active. Terminated accounts forfeit unused credits.

7. Data Processing and Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR.

7.1 You Are the Data Controller — When you upload CVs containing candidate personal data, you are the data controller. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, informing candidates, and handling their data requests.

7.2 We Are the Data Processor — We process candidate data only to provide the service. We do not sell, share, or use candidate data for any other purpose.

7.3 Sub-processors — We use Google Cloud (Vertex AI / Gemini) for AI processing and other providers as listed in our Privacy Policy.

7.4 Data Encryption — Organization workspaces are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and in transit (TLS).

8. Service Availability

We strive for reliability but provide no formal SLA, especially for free-tier usage. The service depends on third-party providers whose outages may affect availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid in the preceding 12 months, or EUR 100 (whichever is greater).
  • We are not liable for AI output errors, your failure to review output, unauthorized access due to your negligence, or third-party disruptions.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (fraud, gross negligence).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless aperAI, its affiliates, and its officers from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or legal fees arising out of your use of SeeVee. This includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from your uploading of candidate data without a lawful basis or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

By You — Delete your account anytime. If you are the last member of an organization, all data is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period.

By Us — We may terminate for Terms violations, fraud, credit abuse, or if continued service becomes impractical. We will notify you except in urgent cases.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes resolved in Estonian courts. EU consumer rights under mandatory law are preserved. EU consumers may use the Online Dispute Resolution platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

Material changes notified 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and aperAI regarding SeeVee.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.
  • Assignment. You may not assign your rights. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale.
